At the end of every year I always struggle with throwing away my calendar. It seems like such a waste to put all those adorable pictures in the trash. This year is different! I decided to put together a project for my little one to work on – sending out Valentine’s. I enjoyed working on this project with Guin and the best part is you have over 1 month to get it done!

• Cut out the pictures. I had Guin do most of the cutting so she could work on this skill, but she did get bored eventually.

• Glue pictures to colored construction paper.

 

• Add a cute saying to the paper and cut down further if desired. I also encouraged Guin to sign her name on each paper to practice her handwriting.

Overall this was a very fun project. Guin and I took several weekends to put this together, doing a little bit at a time. It also helped her practice important skills such as cutting, gluing, and handwriting.
