Crowd Pleasing Chicken Primavera

Looking for a recipe that all members of your family enjoy? Here it is! Best news is that this recipe is very healthy and is compliant with many diets. I often adjust each chicken breast for members of my family depending on their likes and dislikes. For example, my little one does not have onions in hers and we skip the tomato in my husbands.

Ingredients

4 chicken breasts

1 large green bell pepper

1 red onion

1 zucchini

1 tomato

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp oregano

1 cup shredded cheese

Directions

  1. Slice green pepper in square strips
  2. Slice zucchini thinly, into half-moon shapes
  3. Slice red onion into quarters, then thin pieces
  4. Slice your tomato into quarters and then thin pieces
  5. Take your chicken breast and cut multiple slices in the chicken. Do not cut all the way through the breast but make the openings as large as possible in order to put the vegetables in.

6.  Spray a 9×11 baking dish with nonstick spray and then add chicken breasts.7.  Insert the vegetables in the sliced areas of chicken.

8.  Add spices and then cheese
